Benefits of Outdoor Play All people, but especially children, thrive and develop optimally when they are allowed regular opportunities for unstructured free play and exploration in a natural setting. Children who spend time in the outdoors experience numerous benefits including greater knowledge and understanding of the world around them, improved attitude and self-perception, improved communication and teamwork skills, and improved health and fitness.

Outdoor ActivitiesOur child-focused program follows children's interests as we navigate our site and some of the surrounding gems nearby. Activities may range from catching frogs on the edge of a tiny pond, to building houses with sticks, to rolling in the mud, to sliding down snow piles in the winter. All of our activities will enhance your child's physical, cognitive, and emotional development, while keeping them challenged and engaged.

Cozy Indoor SpaceAs we are a full day child care program, we do have a clean, cosy, and comfortable indoor space for lunch, snacks, and quiet/nap time. Our indoor space provides numerous learning opportunities including reading, loose parts play, and artistic expression. We will also use this space in the even of extreme weather situations where outdoor time may be more limited.
